New Delhi [India], Oct. 8 (ANI): HTC India, a global leader in mobile innovation and design has announced that its flagship device, HTC 10 will now be available in India at discounted rate of Rs. 47,990. The flagship was launched in April 2016 at Rs. 52,990. HTC 10 delivers a power packed performance combining the world's first OIS front and back camera with world's first 24-bit Hi-Res audio. This is supported by 4K video recording and BoomSound Hi-Fi edition with a separate tweeter and woofer setup. The HTC 10 boasts of the world's first Optical Image Stabilisation in both front and back cameras and a DxOMark score of 88, claimed by the company. The HTC 10 comes with next generation quad HD display that is 30 percent more colourful, creating a true cinematic feel, and that is 50 percent more responsive to touch than its predecessor, even the smallest and fastest of finger movements track perfectly, claimed by HTC. Cher Wang , H.T.Cho and Peter Chou founded HTC in 1997. Initially a manufacturer of notebook computers, HTC began designing some of the world's first touch and wireless hand-held devices in 1998. The company is credited with creating the first Android smartphone, the first Microsoft-powered smartphone in 2002 and the first Microsoft 3G phone in 2005. Their first major product, one of the world's first touch-screen smartphones, appeared in 2000.(ANI)
