ExxonMobil, Maruti Suzuki motorsport reaffirm partnership for fourth consecutive year
New Delhi [India], Jan. 31 (ANI): ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt Ltd., a wholly-owned affiliate of ExxonMobil Corporation has reaffirmed its partnership with Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) across all three of the latter's 2017 adventure motor sports events -Desert Storm, Dakshin Dare and Raid de Himalaya. "Partnering with Maruti Suzuki Motorsport has been an affirmation of this shared commitment to excellence. Extending this relationship for another season has been a natural choice for both," said CEO ExxonMobil's lubricants business in India, Deepankar Banerjee. The 15th edition of Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm flags off from Delhi on January 29, 2017 and wraps up on the eighth day - February 4, 2017 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Mobil is the official lubricant partner for the rally. Desert Storm is amongst the toughest, yet most popular rallies in the country given the heady mix of the driving conditions and spectacular terrain that the drive affords. With Mobil engine oil under the hood, Desert Storm drivers can experience an enhanced engine performance and protection, even under these extreme conditions. This is also why automotive technicians, race car drivers, team owners and automotive manufacturers can all testify to the advanced technology delivered by Mobil lubricants. "Mobil has partnered leading automakers and award-winning race teams across the world - motorsports excites us as much as any enthusiast," added Banerjee. (ANI)
