New Delhi [India] March 12 (ANI): Connexus, a community that enables entrepreneurs and corporates to build strategic business connections and collaborations, officially launched a unique platform that brings together business owners, corporates and industry experts.
Connexus empowers budding as well as established entrepreneurs through networking, training and consulting. The first conclave of this one-of-a-kind entrepreneurial platform saw some great names conversing passionately and sharing anecdotes on ‘Employee to Entrepreneur: A Journey of Success’.
The chapter welcomed these entrepreneurs and thought leaders from various industries. The panel of four dynamic women entrepreneurs included the likes of Anisha Motwani, Managing partner at STORM the NORM Ventures, Dr Shalini Lal, Founder of Infinity OD, Nandini Gulati, Corporate Wellness Coach & Consultant and Meena Vaidyanathan, Founder Niiti Consulting with Vani Gupta Dandia, Co-founder and CEO of Benddit as the moderator.
“Connexus is not just about making connections. It is also about collaborating and celebrating. It is about finding context, which helps you bring your excellence to the fore and expand as a professional. The evening undoubtedly was a curtain raiser of what Connexus has in store for its community members, in times to come”, mentioned Devapriya Khanna, Co-founder, Connexus.
“The journey from being an employee to an entrepreneur has been a mixed one with several gives and takes but at the end of it, I am net positive and a lot happier. It’s been only three years and I know I have a long way to go but one good thing that has happened is that I know that I could be an entrepreneur till I have my one foot in my grave. So, to that extent, there exist immense possibilities. One needs just needs to get the thinking and perseverance right to be successful”, said Anisha Motwani, Managing Partner at STORM the NORM Ventures.
“In the early stages, finding an entrepreneurial voice can be one of the biggest challenges. Expressing one’s own point of view as an entrepreneur comes with experience and learning, in order to understand what an entrepreneur in me wants to say”, stated Dr Shalini Lal, Founder of Infinity OD.
“The journey from an employee to an entrepreneur is a search for meaning. When you are in the corporate, your goal is same as everybody else’s but when you are an entrepreneur you have your individual goal post and it is up to you to define what that is going to be for you. This changes the definition of success altogether”, explained Nandini Gulati, Corporate Wellness Coach & Consultant,
“It takes a lot of courage and self-belief. For me, that was the greatest realization that I can do something of my own and that I didn’t need validation only as a corporate employee and what I thought I could do was validation enough. This is my greatest realization as I made my shift”, expressed Vani Gupta Dandia, Co-founder and CEO of Benddit.
In the spirit of learning and growth, the event concluded with an expert talk from Prajakt Raut, who shared his insights on creating value by engaging the start-up ecosystem followed by a wonderful performance by the musical band ‘OSA Drum Circle’, after which the floor opened for conversation and networking.
