Rainshine Entertainment brings home their second National Film Award, wins 'Best Editing' award for documentary 'Borderlands' at the 68th National Film Awards

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 29 (ANI/PRNewswire): Borderlands, a documentary feature produced by Rainshine Entertainment that explores people's everyday lives as they deal with the consequences of India's borders, wins the Best Editing of a Non-Feature Film award at the 68th National Film Awards, 2022.
This makes it a second win for the Rainshine team at the prestigious National Film Awards presented by the Government of India. The company's first award was bagged for the documentary feature Amoli at the 66th National Film Award for Best Investigative Film.
Borderlands has already received multiple awards and accolades across acclaimed film festivals. Its laurels include an Official Selection to the Chicago South Asian Festival 2021, selection to the 22nd Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, and a feature at the Marche du Film- Festival de Cannes 2020. The film won the 'Jury Mention Best Documentary Film Award' at the 10th Washington DC South Asian Film Festival, among many others.
Stepping away from the mainstream and telling unseen and unheard true stories, Rainshine's documentary Borderlands is a story of hope.
