Bridge of Hope Felicitates Underprivileged Children on Children's Day

Bridge of Hope Felicitates Underprivileged Children on Children's Day
New Delhi [India], Nov 14 (ANI-NewsVoir): With a mission to make education accessible to poor children across the country, Believers Church child care project, Bridge of Hope today organized Children's Day and annual award program for Bridge of Hope Children across India. 2800 plus students today received awards for excellence in academics, sports and other activities across India. More than 80000 Bridge of Hope children and 4800 plus teachers and staffs across India participated in various Cultural, Singing and Folk dance programs organized by Bridge of Hope in its 625 Centers to celebrate Children's Day. Bridge of Hope aims to help the poor and underprivileged children of the country for better education, health, hygiene and other social issues. Every year Bridge of Hope celebrates Annual Day across its 625 projects. Altogether more than 80000 children participate in the activity across India. In Delhi NCR nearly 4000 children will participate from 27 projects. The celebration includes cultural events and special awards for children who have performed well in their academics, sports, attendance and conduct. The events also help to discover the talents of able children. "I really appreciate the effort and noble thought of Metropolitan Dr. K P Yohannan led Believers Church which is helping the underprivileged children of our country so that they get proper formal education and lead a good life. It's a great move and I will extend my full support to them wherever possible for such social cause," said MoS Family Welfare, Women and Child Welfare Uttar Pradesh, Ravidas Mehrotra. "I really thank our countrymen and our staff to stand and support for our future leaders. We want to ensure that every child of our country should be educated so that they live a health and respectful life. We are making our full effort to reach out to as many children as we can. We will do our best bit to make India 100 percent educated and literate nation," said Metropolitan of Believers Church, Dr. K P Yohannan. "We at Bridge of Hope are thoroughly committed and will make all our efforts to enroll more children in our project so that they study and support their family to lead a good healthy life," said Director Bridge of Hope, Prince Josiah.
