Bank of Baroda-Lawrencedale Agro Processing sign MoU to help double farmer's income
New Delhi [India], July 25 (ANI): Aiming to assist the government in doubling of farmer's income by 2022, Bank of Baroda on Tuesday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lawrencedale Agro Processing India Pvt. Limited. With this, Bank of Baroda will help finance the farmers, companies and other associated parties involved in supply of vegetables and fruits procured by LEAF, a well-established company engaged in various agriculture activities like procurement, aggregating, grading, sorting, cleaning, packaging, storage, transportation and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. "We have entered memorandum of understanding with Lawrencedale Agro Processing India Pvt. Limited to work jointly and to provide loans to the farmers. This relationship of Bank of Baroda, one of the premier banks of our country, with Lawrencedale Agro Processing India Pvt. Limited will immensely benefit the farmers in increasing their productivity and earnings," said G.B.Bhuyan, Head- Rural and Agri Banking and CSR. (ANI)
