Axalta launches paint shop management online system in India, Thailand

Gurugram (Haryana) [India], Jan.30 (ANI-Businesswire India): Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has launched a paint shop management (PSM) online system for automotive collision repairers in Thailand and India. The online system is integrated with Axalta's new generation color retrieval system and provides automotive paint shops by generating accurate paint repair quotes, track paint usage and the status of the repairs, thus improving the collision repairers' effectiveness and efficiency in operating their paint shops. Axalta recognizes that an auto paint shop management system is fundamental to operating an efficient repair facility. Axalta's PSM already exists in our color tool so no further installation is required. It is easy to activate, set-up and implemented and accessible on any stand-alone or network computer system, the later requiring an internet connection. It can even be scaled up for multi-site operations. Once registered, Axalta's dedicated team will work with the customer to personalise set up and provide staff training, either on-site or remotely. There are three modules within the tool to suit the needs of any paint shop. The basic color retrieval module for color formula search which includes cost of the selected formula. The inventory control module including orders and delivery, cost of inventory held.
