New Delhi [India], Apr 14 (ANI): Prominent player in biscuits and bakery market of India, Anmol Bakers on Friday announced its new manufacturing unit at Bhubneshwar in Odisha with an aim to go in hand with the 'Make in India' program of government.

New Delhi [India], Apr 14 (ANI): Prominent player in biscuits and bakery market of India, Anmol Bakers on Friday announced its new manufacturing unit at Bhubneshwar in Odisha with an aim to go in hand with the 'Make in India' program of government. The FMCG brand aims to provide a much needed boost to the local employment and new opportunities to many people in the state. Anmol Industries' has set up its Bhubaneswar unit equipped with all advance technology and tools. The seventh manufacturing unit of the company, the new unit is built with an investment of Rs. 135 crore. It has certifications like GHP, GMP and HACCP. It is a green plant equipped with 400kva solar plant and will use only clean fuels like LPG. "We feel proud to participate in the Make in Odisha program of the Chief Minister and establish our new state-of-the-art factory in the state. This is our seventh manufacturing unit. Odisha is one of the most important markets for Anmol, where we are the second largest biscuit brand," said MD Anmol Industries, Bimal Choudhary. Further to this he said that with the opening of the new factory, the company hopes to consolidate and improve our position in the state. "This new facility will also serve as a gateway to the south as we look to introduce brand Anmol to the southern markets as well, which we plan to service from this factory," added Choudhary. (ANI)
