Dubai [UAE], August 7: In a significant milestone for international technology collaboration, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, Consul General of India in Dubai, officially launched Preckon, an AI-native construction intelligence platform developed by Canadian and Indian entrepreneurs to accelerate the digital transformation of the Middle East's construction industry.
Powered by artificial intelligence, Preckon is designed to automate pre-construction planning, optimize cost estimation, analyze engineering drawings and tender documents, and deliver real-time project intelligence. The platform enables contractors, consultants, developers, and infrastructure companies to improve productivity, reduce project delays, and make faster, data-driven decisions across the GCC construction ecosystem.
The launch marked Preckon's official entry into the UAE market and was strategically facilitated by Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala, whose end-to-end support in stakeholder engagement, ecosystem partnerships, branding, government outreach, and market-entry strategy helped establish the company's regional expansion roadmap.

Preckon was co-founded by Mr. Sreedhar Gonepally (Sunny), CEO & Co-Founder of AIGCC LLC-FZ and President of the Canada Chapter of the World Telugu IT Council (WTITC), along with Mr. Uma Mahesh Mukkara, technology entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Preckon. Together, they bring decades of global expertise in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.

Following the launch, the delegation held strategic meetings with senior officials of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to explore establishing Preckon's regional operations in Ras Al Khaimah. With the emirate witnessing rapid growth in construction, industrial development, tourism, hospitality, and large-scale infrastructure projects, RAKEZ welcomed discussions on supporting AI-driven construction technologies and highlighted Ras Al Khaimah as an attractive destination for global technology companies expanding into the Middle East.
The delegation also met with the leadership of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) to discuss collaboration in artificial intelligence, construction technology, innovation, and research commercialization. The SRTIP leadership welcomed the initiative and explored opportunities to support AI-powered construction solutions within Sharjah's growing innovation ecosystem.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, appreciated the vision behind Preckon and welcomed the growing collaboration between India, Canada, and the UAE in emerging technologies. He noted that the UAE continues to offer a dynamic innovation ecosystem for global technology companies and encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage the country's business-friendly environment to build internationally scalable solutions.
Mr. Sreedhar Gonepally (Sunny), Co-Founder of Preckon, said, "Preckon was built with a vision to transform the construction industry through artificial intelligence and intelligent automation. Our objective is to help the industry make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions while improving efficiency and reducing project costs. The UAE provides an exceptional environment for innovation, and we are excited to contribute to the region's digital transformation journey through strategic partnerships and advanced AI solutions."
The launch of Preckon, followed by strategic engagements with RAKEZ and SRTIP, reflects the growing momentum of Canada-India-UAE collaboration in artificial intelligence, construction technology, and digital innovation. It also reinforces the UAE's position as a preferred destination for global technology companies seeking to expand into the GCC through innovation-led partnerships.
