AasaanJobs witnesses 40 pct boost in business via its mobile app
New Delhi [India], Apr 26 (ANI): Online recruitment marketplace AasaanJobs has announced phenomenal business growth of over 40 percent in its overall business via its mobile application, which helps thousands of candidates across India to find the right job based on their skills and requirements. Mobile traffic on the platform saw significant growth in the last two quarters; with 500,000+ sessions in Q3, and over 700,000+ sessions in Q4 driven by increase in smartphone usage across the country. This significant milestone has managed to strengthen AasaanJobs position as a leading recruitment platform in India. "It seems that our audience, specifically job seekers, like to access our platform more on their smartphones than the website. Considering this trend, we have started working more on our mobile offerings to make sure that the products being offered by us are as evolved as the desktop version," said VP Engineering AasaanJobs, Dinesh Singh. With the increase in internet and smartphone penetration in the country, Indian consumers seem to be more comfortable with their smartphones rather than desktops as the former is more accessible and offers better flexibility. As the country becomes more digital, AasaanJobs expects that almost all recruitment services across the country will soon be made available on mobile, allowing job seekers and recruiters find each other with just a touch or tap of a button.
