New Delhi [India], August 11 (ANI-BusinessWire India): The 69th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC), an international conference hosted by IPC association involving manufacturing, teaching, and other pharmacy associations is to be organised at Chitkara University, Punjab this year between December 22 and 24, 2017. Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association IPCA, is a federation of five National Pharmaceuticals Associations (IPA, IHPA, APTI, IPGA, and AIDCOC) is the apex body of more than 25000 pharmacy professional members representing pharmaceutical industry, quality control, quality assurance, marketing, research and development, regulatory, academia and hospital and community pharmacy. The IPCA organises the IPC every year at various places throughout the country in which professional and academic representatives get together to discuss matters relating to pharmacy with an aim to project the image of a pharmacist as a health care professional and to create the awareness about the pharmacy and pharmacy profession amongst the public. A brochure for the conference was launched by Dr. Ashok Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab, Anirudh Tiwari, Principal Secretary, Finance and Investment Promotion, Govt. of Punjab, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Punjab, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University and eminent members of the association including Dr. Shalendra Saraf, Chairman LOC, Dr. Raman Dang, Dr. S. Arora, Dr. Dhirender Kaushik, Dr. Harish Dureja, Dr. R.K. Goel, Dr. Suresh Thakur, Dr. M.S. Ashawat, Dr. Ashish Baldi. The conference will be a mega event with expected participation of 8000 delegates from the pharma industry engaged in drug discovery, operation, marketing, students of undergraduate and post graduate institutes across the globe and other professionals. The event will have technical session by experts on new drug discovery, industrial pharmaceutical technology, clinical research, pharmaceutical management, pharmaco-economics, and nano-pharmaceuticals and other recent development.
